Bicentennial Park's walking trails have been upgraded to asphalt. This will guard against the constant washing away of gravel leaving the trails muddy.

UPDATE: Traffic Calming Devices (TCD)
I attended the 4-4-2019 Pinson City Council Meeting and spoke to the mayor regarding the TCD for Heather Pointe. Some neighbors said they'd seen workers putting down rubber strips, but later didn't see the strips. Mayor Sanders says that what was seen were the counters being placed which will determine where the TCDs will be placed. I'm assuming these counters were placed using a boring tool.
Secondly, after this study is done Skipper Consulting Inc. will build and design the devices. Thirdly, Skipper Consulting Inc. will open the floor for bids to physically place the TCDs. After this the TCDs will be installed. When I asked about a time frame I was told a year.
